What is the difference between the available catalog and the "On Request" service?
The available catalog are units we already have in Peru or are inbound, ready to schedule a visit or close. "On Request" is our import service: you tell us what car you want and we source it through our international network.
How long does an import request take?
Timelines depend on the origin country, unit availability, and customs clearance. We give you a realistic range in the initial quote and notify every milestone (purchase, shipping, arrival, customs).
What do I need to start a request?
Desired make and model (with version if you know it), approximate year, reference budget, and delivery city in Peru. With that we give you a first range on WhatsApp, no obligation.
How much do I need to deposit to start the import?
Once the quote is accepted, we sign the contract with a 20% deposit of the vehicle value. The balance is paid on delivery, before we complete the title transfer.
Do listed prices include taxes and fees?
At Sellex Auto Peru the listed price is confirmed with you in chat: we explain what is included and what is not before moving forward—no fine print. For import requests we break down vehicle, shipping, insurance, taxes, and customs agent in writing.
Can I see the vehicle in person before deciding?
If it is in the available catalog in Peru: yes, we coordinate a visit or video call—whatever is more comfortable for you. If it is an on-request unit overseas, we send real photos, videos, and specs before confirming the purchase.
What paperwork is usually required to reserve or buy?
It depends on the type of deal (cash, external financing, import, etc.). In Peru you typically need ID, billing details, and sometimes proof of income. We send the exact list for your case via WhatsApp.
Do you offer financing or cash only?
Message us and we share typical options or connect you with financing partners when applicable. Final terms are always closed by the bank or finance company.
Is the website inventory up to date?
We update the website and post on Instagram; sometimes things move fast. If a unit is gone, we tell you right away so you do not waste time.
Do you buy cars or only sell?
If you have a premium car that fits our criteria, send photos and details on WhatsApp. We evaluate model, condition, and the Peru market before proposing next steps.
Do you ship to another city or country?
